Based on the recommendations of the Swedish Public Health Agency and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Stockholm University has the following positions:

  • Until further notice, the University advises staff and students not to travel to China. Business trips to the area are not granted under present circumstances.
  • Staff and students who have recently visited the Hubei Province have, in consultation with relevant head/course coordinator, the opportunity to work/study from home for a two-week period after arriving in Sweden.
  • All scheduled visits from partners/guests from the Hubei Province are cancelled until further notice.

Stockholm University has contacted all students who have planned exchange studies in China and they have been encouraged to follow the development of the situation and the recommendations of the Swedish Ministry for Foreign Affairs. Presently there are no outgoing students from Stockholm University in China.
