Research

The Department of Psychology hosts research in a variety of fields. The research groups are divided into six separate research areas. Information about these areas or divisions, and individual research projects, can be found here.

Some research projects present themselves in our own Research project database. In 2012 this database will be discontinued and we will start using the Research database at Stockholm University to a higher extent.

Leading research areas

Many of Stockholm University's research groups are at the cutting edge of their field of inquiry. Within the Faculty of Social Sciences seven research areas, each nationally-leading and having a high international status, have been chosen to profile the University.

One of these is the research programme Cognitive aging in which the Betula project at our department plays a prominent role.

Our researchers are also participating in the research programme Stress, Work, Health and Restitution, led by the Stockholm Stress Center.
