A fairly common structure is that a subject is presented at a lecture in a larger group. This is followed by a seminar in small groups with increased opportunities for the processing of the material and with a greater opportunity for the individual student to ask questions and get answers from the teacher.

Other forms of teaching are group work, recording interviews, tutorials, video presentations etc.

Many modules have some additional element e.g. a laboratory assignment including writing a lab report. This means that you get to investigate a specific aspect of psychology in a small group to help you understand how psychological knowledge can be gained.
