The programme started for the first time in the autumn of 2007. It is a half-time education programme of three years study, i.e. comprising 90 higher-education credits (HECs). The students work simultaneously as psychologists. A completed programme leads to a Psychotherapist degree with which the student can apply to become a licensed psychotherapist.

Since 2010 the programme consists of the following 5 courses

A. Profession, 10 HECs
B. Psychotherapeutic theories and methods, 30 HECs
D. Theories of science and research methods in psychotherapy, 10 HECs
E. Thesis, 15 HECs
F. Psychotherapy (with clients) under supervision, 25 HECs
